First Dental Implant Visit

What to Expect at your first Dental Implant Appointment

This appointment will include a thorough examination and collection of diagnostic records. A careful diagnosis requires data to be collected and assembled at this appointment, which may include:

  • Clinical measurements
  • Visual examination of oral tissues
  • Complete dental and medical history
  • Dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Clinical Photographs
  • Diagnostic study models (impressions)

We accept X-rays from other offices, but we may suggest more complete studies to aid in the diagnostic evaluation. We want to provide you with a careful and accurate diagnosis. We will discuss your current clinical condition and we will make recommendations based upon valid clinical findings.

We will answer all of your questions and provide you with information to help you understand your treatment options. You will never be hurried or rushed, nor will you be "sold" an unrealistic or unnecessary treatment plan.
